The cost of a website can vary widely depending on a number of factors, such as the complexity of the site, the type of content it will contain, the number of pages it will have, and the amount of custom functionality it will require. Some websites may cost a few hundred dollars to build, while others may cost tens of thousands of dollars or more.
There are several components that can affect the cost of a website, including:
The design of the website, including the layout, color scheme, and overall aesthetic, can impact the cost.
The amount of content that needs to be created or provided for the website can affect the cost.
The level of custom functionality required, such as e-commerce, a custom search function, or interactive features, can increase the cost of a website.
Ongoing maintenance and updates to the website can also impact the overall cost.
Your domain name is whichever website address you choose, such as kingbogey.com. This is going to typically run you about $10-20/year depending on the options you choose. I use Namecheap for my domain name services.
You can utilize hosting with a service called Cloudways, which is a dedicated cloud hosting and server solution. You can scale up your server as needed, but for the most part your server costs will be roughly $40/mo (or $480/year)
You can build with Elementor and Unlimited Elements as your standard page builders, which cost $49/year and $39/year respectively. You can then use WP Rocket for caching and PageSpeed optimization, which is $49/year, Imagify for image optimization, which runs about $120/year, and Rank Math Pro for SEO, which costs another $69/year.
Those are the base plugins you can use.
So you can basically anticipate that the base cost of a WordPress website is going to run you about $826/year (or about $69/month). And that's all before you've hired anyone to do anything.
Depending on how much you need, the base cost of a site with Webflow is going to run you anywhere from $18-49/month (or $168-468/year).
Any additional functionality is going to cost you extra, which is why it's so difficult to give a specific cost for a website without learning more information about the specific requirements of the project. If you have a specific budget in mind, it may be helpful to work with a web designer or developer to determine what is possible within your budget.
